Bite The Bullet

We cut Mosey's hair. No, I'm not happy--but I think I'll be okay. You all know about his hair issues. Some people call it a "ring" around his head, some people think he has been wearing a hat, some people think we shaved just the sides of his head, but I prefer to call it his "halo". Whatever you call it, the fact is he had some hair all the way around his head that started growing later than the rest and the longer his hair got the more noticeable it was. So we knew we had to cut it all down to the same length if we were to ever hope for a nice, even fro. So Matt had been saying we should do it for a few days, and finally, when we had some friends over for my moral support, I gave him the go ahead.

BEFORE

Mos didn't really enjoy the experience. Ava freaked out and thought we were going to strap her in the chair next. I tried to not cry. Adam came up with lots of unique 'do suggestions. Lisa tried to make me feel optimistic. And Matt just shaved all that beautiful hair away.
DURING

All I have to say at this point is it's a good thing he is so dang cute he can pull off anything.

You don't need hair when you have a face as cute as his. No one is going to let you get away with that after picture.... Lucky for me I got to see his adorable new do in person;)

Doctors are barbers too.

Moses is adorable and I love the beanie. I hate cutting Jantsen's hair because he use to always scream when I turned the clippers on. Such a tramatic experience for kids.

Lisa,
This is Sheri. I have been stalking your blog for a while now...at least I am finally out in the open! Remember LaKay taught my kid's swim lessons so we feel like "family" to both of you. That is great you are in Omaha. Brandon actually had a dream 3 weeks before his mission call that he was going there....and he is so excited to learn spanish! You have such beautiful children...and sure seem to be loving motherhood. Tell your family hi for me and feel free to hook up any of them to my blog - I will be adding you to my blog list now that I am "out of the closet"!

Scotty I will cut your hair when I get back to utah. I will also do it with dice around my neck eating a rice cake.

When they get a little bit older, I have found that the TV makes a great focus so that you can cut hair with out too much pain or movement.
They line out, and it makes hair cutting soooo much easier.

Lisa, nothing could be worse than when Brian gives himself a "haircut". Atleast his hair HAS to look better than Brian's when he shaves his head.

K, I just noticed your blog background matches his hat!

Clever.
