Dear Mosey,

If I have to spend another day putting you back in your crib for 2 and a half hours I am going to lose my mind. You're tired, I'm tired--just take a nap already. It is not my fault that you are as big as a three year old when you are not yet two. My best guess is that it is your father's fault, yeah, the other one, but who knows? I understand that you may be too young to reason with, you are just too tall and too coordinated for your own good right now. I'll admit, it makes me smile when you fake sleep and then come out of your room clapping and telling yourself, "Good job." Yes, I laughed when I caught you climbing over the side and you jumped back in and pulled a blanket over your head, but only because it was in the first hour of trying to get you to stay. Did you have to pull this nonsense when Daddy is in finals and I am alone? You planned it that way, didn't you? You know I cave when you laugh and crinkle up your nose, and when you snuggle into me and pat my back with your little hand I know I am the luckiest girl there ever was; but if it continues to take 2 hours to get you to sleep, one of us is going to have to go. It's either you or me, buddy.

Love, Mama

I'll take him. It's not like we do any sleeping up in our house anymore anyway.

I'm sooo sorry! They know our soft spots though!

Luckily your mom is coming out and it's going to be fab!

If I were a bettin' woman, I'd put my money on Moses, based mainly on determination of will, resilience, and a seemingly unearthly supply of energy.

Good luck with that.

haha. I would have to say that he is a smart little guy. Send him over and Kambryn and him can have non-sleepovers anytime.
