My guess, and it is only a guess, is that is Moses is modeling the behavior (drinking from the "jug") that he has seen done by his mother and his sister.

The basketball picture is absolutely hilarious! I looked at it a few days ago, but failed to comment at the time, and it has made me smile more than once since then.
