time flying by

It seems that in spite of my best efforts, Tate keeps on growing. This mothering business is all so bittersweet.

crawling-so cute.
lowering the crib mattress-so sad.
sleeping through the night sometimes-heaven.
teething-awful.
wrestling with Daddy (really? already?)-adorable
growling-funny
fit throwing-eye rolling
the laughing-magical e.v.e.r.y time

It is called a Telephone

When we were at Sea World we checked into our hotel and Ava ran around to check out the room and saw the telephone and said, "Daddy I know how to use this.  There is one in my teacher's classroom.  You pick it up and just push the buttons like this."

My Boy

A few things you should know about Moses:

  • his favorite color is red

  • his favorite food is ramen noodles

  • his favorite treat is cookies

  • his favorite thing to do outside is hit the ball

  • his favorite sister is Ava

  • his favorite baby is Tate

  • his favorite friend is Ava

  • his favorite toy is Woody

  • his favorite super hero is Dash

Moses has gotten really good lately at building train tracks (bigger and much more elaborate than in this picture). Obviously a good train track must consist of bridges and tunnels and lots of curves. Mommy is NO GOOD at track building.

Mos loves ROBOTS. He likes to build robots, draw robots, and act like a robot. At Sea World he said this submarine was a robot and he wanted to take a picture by it.

This kid would hit the ball all day long if he could just get his mommy to stand out there and throw it to him.

Matt has also reported that Moses can throw a football straighter and further than the five-year-old next door who is actually on a football team. And this was after the first time Mos had thrown one.

That's my boy. I'm a lucky girl, ain't I?
